In an experiment [1], participants had to answer an eight-question quiz. The correct answers were at the bottom of the page, so it was possible to cheat. After taking the first quiz, participants were asked how many answers they would get correct on another quiz of the same difficulty level, but in which there would be no answers at the bottom of the page.
How many did they think they could answer correctly?
